Merit Badge Requirements & Worksheets | 12-5 to 12/6/2009: Juniper Springs to Hidden Pond Backpacker We had a wonderful trip! Although the weather was sketchy 24 hours prior to our scheduled departure on Saturday, the rain finally broke as we hit the trail at 11:30 am. The trail conditions were excellent and the participants cranked to camp in just over two hours. Saturday night was cold and crawling out of our sleeping bags Sunday was refreshing (37 degrees). The hike out was quick and we kept the weekend going for a group lunch before returning to FUMCWG @ 2:30 pm. |
